Every season, prettier.

Dear friend,

Arrington Vineyards, October 2012. Every season better than the last. Like a little vacation, only free. Sometimes people email me to say, "I'm visiting Nashville. Where should I go?" Sometimes I forget to tell them to pack a picnic and drive half an hour south of town through some of the nicest countryside in Tennessee. Stop when you get to the long drive with the big wine barrels, walk into the cozy lodge at the top of the hill, enjoy some free sips of local wine and some handmade raspberry chocolate bits. In the winter, there are bonfires. Sometimes a bluegrass band. Picnics year-round, even in the snow. It's one of my favorite pieces of land on this whole earth.

Love,

Rebekka

P.S. The color-coordination of the pants and skirt was not premeditated. I promise!

P.P.S. Come visit me over at The Etsy Blog today, where I get to pick out some favorite Dia de los Muertos pretties :)

Absolutely lovely :) So sharp and the colours are magical, especially those pops of red.

Sounds absolutely lovely. I don't live in Nashville, but I live in the bay area so the closest thing in comparison would probably be Napa. I may have to talk my hubs into a fun trip =) You guys are cute BTW

Very jealous! We are hunkering down for the Winter in Scotland, rather than wearing flip flops and picnicking in the park :)

Next time I'm in Nashville, I shall have to convince my significant other (a Nashville native) to take me to Arrington! Sounds like a beautiful place -- I miss visiting wineries!

Gosh, this is beautiful. Picnics are one of my very favourite things but picnics with good people in a gorgeous location? I don't think life gets much better than that!

Nostalgia is setting in! My husband and I spent a week in Tennessee a couple of years ago for our honeymoon and we, very fortunately, stumbled upon Arrington Vineyards. Such a lovely place and wonderful wines. The raspberry was definitely one of my favorites! Thank you for unknowingly stirring a happy memory for me :)

Loving all that cherry red!! It reminds me of these Cambridge bowls from the 30's that I bought at an estate sale. Gorgeous as always!
